Tokyo air raid. (March 10, 1945)

March 10 is the day of Tokyo air raid.
Tokyo suffered from the air raid on March 10 (00:08 a.m.), 1945.
B-29 spent for about two and a half hours, and did wave-like carpet-bombing to Tokyo.
As many as 344 bombers came flying.
B-29 dropped about 1,000,000(2000 tons) firebombs to Tokyo.
First of all, B-29 dropped firebombs to surroundings in Tokyo, and made the wall of the flame.
The resident was deprived of the escape in raging flames.
And, a large amount of firebomb was dropped to residents.
B-29 flew low, and the machine gun was machine-gunned to the citizens who ran about trying to escape.

As a result, 100,000 noncombatants or more were burnt to death at a night, and 1,000,000 people lost the house.
(My parents also lost the house this time.)

This air raid was a genocide operation by which the general citizens were assumed to be a main target.
This is obviously a violation of International Law.
This air raid to which 100,000 people were murdered at a night (For two and a half hours) is the worst in the history of mankind record.

Let us keep war from being visited on mankind again.

東京大空襲

三月十日は東京大空襲の日です。
1945年(昭和20年)の三月十日(午前零時八分)、東京は空襲に見舞われました。
B-29は、約2時間半掛けて、東京へ波状絨毯爆撃を行いました。
B-29爆撃機は、三百四十四機も飛来しました。
B-29は東京へ、約100万発(2000トン)の焼夷弾を投下しました。
B-29は、まず、東京の周囲へ焼夷弾を投下し、炎の壁を作りました。
住民は猛火の中で逃げ道を奪われました。
そしてそこへ、大量の焼夷弾が住民達へ投下されました。
また、B-29は低空で飛来し、逃げ惑う市民らへ機銃掃射しました。

その結果、一晩に10万人以上の非戦闘員が焼死し、百万人が家を失いました。
(私の両親も、この時 家を失いました。)
この空襲は、一般市民を主目標とした大量殺戮作戦だった。
これは明らかに国際法違反です。
一晩(僅か2時間半)で10万人を殺害したこの空襲は、広島の原爆に匹敵し、人類史上最悪の記録です。

二度と人類が戦争に見舞われないようにしましょう。
